recycle material

Brand uses plastic for most of their product packaging.
We have asked them for further clarity on their recycling policies and PCR content.

Though brand has teamed up with TerraCycle for recycling in many countries, we find that Post-consumer collection of packaging components is not available in all areas where products are sold. What this means is, that larger Corporations like Unilever ( their parent brand) have an EPR mandate (by law) to ensure all empties are collected and recycled in a proper way. Though this is done in a lot of countries, unfortunately in developing and third world countries all waste & plastic ends up in landfills. Primarily due to poor regulatory laws and bigger Corporations shrugging their responsibility when convenient.
We feel the brand LBP should go the extra mile and collect their empties to ensure proper disposal in all locations they sell here or have a take back scheme introduced like many conscious brands do, at their store locations.
