It is important to know that it’s not required for detergent companies to publish all ingredients on the product. . It is also worthwhile to note that many detergents also have microplastic ingredients, which add to water contamination once waste is released from our washing machines. Phosphates, a common ingredient in detergents, builds up in waterways and lead to toxicity in water, marine life and plants.

Synthetic fragrance are known to contain a mix of various toxins - unless these are clearly and transparently mentioned as complete fragrance by the brand. Unfortunately very few brands give complete fragrance info as they consider this as proprietary information. When it comes to Synthetic fragrance this is tricky as they can be known pollutants in it.
